Thanks for visiting this site. Memorial Day Weekend 2020, I was talking with many friends and coworkers about the masks we liked and didn’t like, knowing we would be wearing these for a while. We all have different things we like in masks. The more I wear masks to make a quick grocery store run or to the office for work, the pickier I get. Masks are too important to stopping the spread of COVID-19 to assume that any mask will fit every person.

I have tried on and tested about eighty different masks and decided to document the testing. When I’m not testing masks, I live in northern Virginia with my husband and our tabby cat. I am also a personal security instructor with Rising Tide Defense.

Mask Care: I wash my masks in the washer on cold (the detergent is enough to kill any possible virus) and air dry them. I don’t have time or energy to handwash masks or to iron them. If they can’t handle my washer, I don’t recommend them.
