Halo Life Mask
The Halo mask seems pretty comfortable and akin to the Happy mask. It is multiple layers with a nanofilter good for up to 200 hours. It has a filter pocket, a nose piece, and behind-the-ear attachment. This is one of the few masks tested at Nelson Labs, an independent laboratory that is one of the gold standards of testing masks. The replaceable filter is good for 200+ hours and certified to Nelson Labs standards to 99.3% particulate efficiency at 0.1 Microns, which exceeds N95 standards
Metamask and Halo Life share a common origin and Halo Life has a founder in common. Metamask continues to sell quality masks in the Indonesian market, while Halo Life is making a different mask and selling it more widely. The masks themselves are not exactly the same. The HALO Mask is based on an updated design, with improvements throughout.
This is definitely my favorite mask. I wear them for hours each week, switching them out every day so they get a chance to air out between uses. The filters are a little finicky to get right, but once you get it figured out, it isn’t a big deal. The biggest weakness these masks have are the nose pieces - the metal pokes through on the outside after multiple months of use and may break if folded a lot in pockets. Neither of those things are a dealbreaker given how long these last.
Small and medium are good kid sizes, large and xl are good for adults. These are great for exercising in. They minimize glasses fogging, and with the foam liner inside the nose piece, you get a better seal.
